The Ampetronic W5-2X is a professional induction loop driver with Phase Shift which has been engineered for high quality, low-spill hearing loop performance in compact spaces. It’s particularly useful for small rooms where there is no AV rack and no network monitoring requirements, but can still make use of Ampetronic’s industry leading spill control design.

Designed for straightforward and discreet wall-mounted installations, it offers a practical solution for improving audio accessibility within confined environments.

The W5-2X induction loop driver is both easy to install and easy to use.

The W5-2X operates as a Class D amplifier for increased efficiency and lower power consumption.

Additionally, it features integrated test tones, Euroblock screw terminal connections and optional cable management unit, to further ease installation. (See WTray1).

Design templates for low spill in especially small rooms are available to download from the Ampetronic Loopworks portal. These are optimised specifically for the W5-2, including two turn options with twin core flat copper tape for higher loss environments.

Note that a Loopworks account is needed to access design template downloads. However, it is free to register and grants access to the full suite of Loopworks tools and resources.
