The Wharfedale Pro DP-4035F 4-channel power amplifier with DSP is a highly versatile multi-channel amp compatible with both low impedance loudspeaker circuits as well as 70/100V line. It delivers 350W per channel at 8Ω, 595W at 4Ω and up to 2020W bridged at 4Ω. It also delivers 2020W in 100V bridged mode or 1225W at 70V bridged.

It provides clean, controlled output across a variety of configurations and is stable down to 2 Ohms, with huge Class D power, ideal for professional installations and live sound systems where precision DSP control and dependable performance are essential.

The DP-4035F is part of the updated DP-F amplifier series and introduces major enhancements including advanced DSP controller software, increased internal processing, an IPS colour display, locking XLR connectors and AES/EBU digital inputs — all contributing to improved workflow and sound management.

The series comprises of four models offering a range of power outputs:
DP-4035F: 4 x 595W (4 ohm), DP-4065F: 4 x 1100W (4 ohm), DP-4100F: 4 x 1700W (4 ohm) & DP-2200F: 2 x 3400W (4 ohm).

All models come in a compact 1U format for space saving in racks and feature variable speed fan cooling. In testing, we were pleasantly surprised at the low noise level of the fans when being used at normal operating volume levels.

DSP Controller software, accessed via an ethernet port and a laptop, provides powerful functionality for both DP-F Series amplifiers. It offers amp grouping, precise EQ and level control, and access to a comprehensive preset library. With built-in SMAART API compatibility, it integrates seamlessly with leading system analysis tools for fast, efficient tuning and optimisation. We found the software easy to use and feature packed, allowing for custom DSP settings to be stored and exported for use on other DP-F amplifiers. We were also impressed by its ability to add additional input gain to low level input signals.

In addition to balanced analogue inputs, the amplifier can route AES/EBU digital inputs which is a great feature at this price point.
