The LD Systems MAILA M is an active ground stack full-range stereo system. Each side of the stereo set up consists of one MAILA SUB 2x15'' high-performance subwoofer with cardioid function, four MAILA SAT satellites and one MAILA COL column, which drives the satellites.

MAILA M, with its output power of 1000 Watts RMS, combines various acoustic concepts to maximise power and sound quality from an exceptionally compact and versatile PA system.

The basis of MAILA M is the MAILA SUB - a 2.5 kW 2x15'' high-performance subwoofer using a bandpass design and delivering a massive and powerful bass foundation with its newly developed SysCore® DSP.

Building on the SUB, the next component is the MAILA COL full-range column sporting 4x 6.5'' woofers for an extended low-mid range as well as a 4-channel DSP amplifier (2.5 kW) with SysCore® DSP powering the MAILA SAT satellites. The connection between SPA and SAT as well as between each of the satellites is completely cable-free via the newly developed SmartLink+® rails.

The elegant aluminium unibody MAILA SAT satellites sit on top and feature Advanced WaveAhead® technology where five 1'' tweeters are placed in front of a 6.5'' midrange driver and coupled without interference via the SonicGuide® (two combined waveguides). The integrated passive membrane provides extended punch down to 100 Hz producing a classic line array dispersion with impressive throw.

The angle of each MAILA SAT is easily adjusted via the EasySplay® mechanism - a rotating handle on the rear enables simple continuous adjustment of each individual satellite from 0° to 8°. The angle can be adjusted with just one hand, even under load.

MAILA M may be all you need, but it can be extended in the future if required, as each MAILA COL can control up to 8 MAILA SAT’s and, in addition to the ground stack variant, also enables flown configurations with a separately placed subwoofer. In this way, MAILA M covers small festival stages and clubs just as effortlessly and precisely as conferences or lectures in the context of corporate events.

Every MAILA system can be adjusted directly on the device or via the free MAILA app (iPadOS) with software updates wirelessly. Based on the integrated LogoLink® Wireless Connection where wireless antennas are invisibly integrated into the LD logos, operating ranges of up to 30 metres are no problem for MAILA under practical conditions. Once connected, the app automatically detects the available MAILA components and enables the system to be set up quickly and easily - including calculation of the SAT angles even before you get on site.
