Signet AKM1
The SigNET AKM1 meeting room induction loop kit is supplied in a self contained kit* to help you comply with the regulations which govern ‘help with hearing’.
This includes the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) which has now been absorbed into the Equality Act 2010 as well as British Standard BS8300 (2009), the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
The kit is based around the SigNET PDA200E wall mounted induction loop amplifier which benefits from the following:
- PDA200E wall mounted induction loop amplifier includes straightforward internal screw connectors
- Wall-mounting metal enclosure for permanent installation
- Internal drive, level and tone controls
- Four inputs - microphone; line/outreach; alert (for doorbells, fire alarms, etc) and 100V line (for PA system connection)
- Ideal for electrical contractors - no audio connectors or previous experience required.
- Meets and exceeds the requirements of BS7594 and EN60118-4 when correctly installed.

The SigNET AKM1 AFILS kit contains: PDA200E induction loop amplifier; APM plate mic, 'AFILS fitted' sticker.
