The Allen & Heath AB168 is a 48kHz portable remote AudioRack compatible with Qu & SQ compact digital mixers and AHM audio matrix mixers expanding their I/O by providing a further 16 XLR inputs and 8 XLR outputs.

The AB168 is built to last with a rugged design and hard-wearing rubber bumpers. With its sturdy carry handle and weighing just 4.8kg, it’s easy to move around.
Ideal for rental, education, houses of worship and many more applications.

For maximum flexibility, the AB168 can be placed up to 100m away from the mixer, connecting to the mixer or upstream Expander over a single Cat5 cable. Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE Ethernet protocol provides control to the remote preamp, and all mic preamps are scene recallable by the digital mixing system.
A second port enables daisy-chaining to another compatible expander or for connection to a ME personal mixing system.
