Designed to alert the hard of hearing in the event of a fire. Ideal for use at home or whilst staying in a hotel bedroom, the Alertbuddy unit monitors ambient sound in a room and automatically detects the presence of a fire alarm signal.

When a fire alarm is detected, the Alert Buddy will flash, emit a <1KHz low frequency tone (75dBa @ 1m) and activate a vibrating pillow pad (supplied) to maximise the chance of attracting attention, even if sleeping.

The unit can be wall mounted or used on a table top.

The visual alarm indicator is designed to the O Class requirements of EN54-23.

A plug top charger is supplied to recharge the integral Li-Ion battery.

The carry case is ideal for frequent travellers or for safe storage in between guests if beinf used as a loan unit in a hotel environment.
