The Cambridge Sound Management Qt X 300 network controllable sound masking controller is suitable for areas of up to 36,000 square feet (3,345 m²) over a three zones with up to 120 emitters per zone.

System settings are adjusted via the controls on the front panel of the QtX 300. Error reporting and time dependent masking levels can be controlled via PC, MAC or tablet using SageVue system management software. There are also two auxiliary audio inputs to enable integration with paging and background music systems.

Sound masking systems emit a professionally engineered sound over 4 incoherent audio channels in order to increase ambient sound in a frequency range which will help to mask conversations in a given space.

This increases speech privacy and confidentiality in a range of applications such as call centres and open plan offices, hospitals and doctors surgeries, banks, hotels and courtrooms.

In addition to boosting privacy, sound masking can help to increase staff comfort, concentration levels and productivity by providing a working environment with fewer distractions from neighbouring conversations.
