Suspended pendant speakers are designed to be hung from high ceilings and are therefore ideal for background music and paging in large ‘retail sheds’ such as food superstores, garden centres, DIY stores & commercial premises.
Suspension speakers are usually spherical or conical in shape and offer excellent audio dispersion over a large area.
IP rated pendant speakers can be used in sheltered outdoor areas for continuation of background music and announcements outside.
By comparison to the cumbersome wooden wedge-shaped speakers from yesteryear which were usually hung from chains, most pendant loudspeakers are now made from tough ABS plastic, which being much lighter in weight, enables the speaker to simply hang from a suitable length of connection cable.
