SOUND SYSTEMS FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS
SOUND SYSTEMS FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS

A sound system for a Town Hall, Village Hall or other Public Building may have several functions including background music, public address paging or broadcasting pre-recorded announcements as well as individual meeting rooms & function rooms. The PA system will also be integrated into a Voice Alarm system for emergency evacuation broadcasts.

Conference sound systems with optional voting or interpretation functions are ideal for Council Chambers as well as conference rooms, boardrooms and commercial offices. Wired or wireless conference systems are available to suit a variety of applications. Storage & transport cases are available for some conference systems; this is the ideal solution for multi-purpose meeting rooms or hotel conference suites where the space needs to be used for other functions in between use.

An induction loop system should be installed anywhere that staff interact with the public in order to help hearing aid users hear more clearly in areas of high ambient noise or where glass screens are installed. However, proceedings in a courtroom or tribunal hearing should be processed through an infra-red hearing system which offers a confidential solution to assistive listening for the hearing impaired as the signal cannot pass through to adjacent rooms.

Town Halls, Magistrates Courts and other Civic Buildings are often listed buildings so audio systems must be installed discreetly, without damage to the fabric of the building. With this in mind, we suggest you consult a specialised installer with suitable experience. Please let us know if if you would like us to put you in touch with a local audio engineer from our customer database to quote for installation.
