The Bosch LAS-BEAM-S is the small Steerable Beam Active Speaker in the new LAS-BEAM flagship audio beam-steering column loudspeaker series. These powered steerable arrays combine the clarity and precision required for PA/VA systems with the musicality needed for background music solutions, delivering crystal-clear audio for critical applications like transport hubs, sports venues, houses of worship, and commercial buildings.

The LAS-BEAM-S, measures just 511 mm (20.1”) tall and is equipped with four 3.5” drivers each powered by a built-in, dedicated 100 W amplifier channel with enhanced processing by an on-board DSP module. This configuration produces a single, steerable audio beam with a typical throw of 15 metres.

The beam can be digitally adjusted in real time using configuration software.

LAS-BEAM loudspeakers are engineered for acoustically complex spaces like airports, houses of worship, and commercial buildings, delivering crystal-clear sound, reliability, and flexibility for speech, music, and announcements.

The LAS-BEAM series integrates seamlessly with PA/VA systems like PRAESENSA and supports dual 100 V audio inputs and/or dual line-level input channels. Innovative monitoring options are available via the 100 V line. Various redundancy wiring configurations, including A+B wiring and Class A loop wiring, can be implemented. In the event of an error, an alarm can be triggered in the PA/VA system through the 100 V line, with full support for PRAESENSA End of Line technology.

With a frequency range of 120 Hz to 18 kHz, the LAS BEAM-S delivers superior audio performance that exceeds life safety requirements, making it suitable for commercial applications such as spherical messaging and background music.
