TASCAM CD-400UDAB

The TASCAM CD-400UDAB all-in-one media player plays tracks from CDs, USB memory devices, SD cards & Bluetooth devices or a portable music player can be connected to the mini-jack input on the front-panel. The integral FM/DAB+ tuner has 20 presets and its own output enabling the user to supply two rooms with different music signals, for example.

A wireless remote control is included and it can also be controlled by serial control via the built-in RS-232C port.

In addition to audio CDs, the CD400UDAB also plays audio files in WAV, MP3, AAC and WMA format stored on data CDs, USB memory devices or SD/SDHC cards. Playback modes (continuous, single and random) can also be combined with repeat playback to suit a wide range of situations. Alternatively, pair with a Bluetooth enabled device for wireless playback from a variety of Bluetooth compatible devices.

Audio from an audio CD or from the tuner can be dubbed to an SD/SDHC card or USB memory device using only the CD-400UDAB without the need for a computer.

When the ‘Incremental Play’ function is enabled, you can skip to the beginning of the next track by pressing the PLAY button on the unit or the remote control during playback. When you press STOP during playback, the unit skips to the beginning of the next track and stands by. This is useful in situations such as presentations where tracks are not played to the end.

Professional balanced outputs on XLR connectors are provided as well as unbalanced outputs on RCA connectors for complete flexibility.

An Ethernet card (IF-E100) is available as an option to allow remote control through a network using Telnet.
